Chicken Yaya
Prep
1 whole smoked chicken peel meat and set aside
1 dz large shrimp peel, de-vein, de-rib, detail place in bowl and refrigerate
1 ½ Cups Long Grain White Rice in sieve rinsed clean
Medium bowl
4 cloves of garlic
1 large chopped onion
1 large yellow chopped bell pepper
1 cup tomatoes seeded, washed and chopped
1 link of talent sausage or other smoked sausage
Medium bowl
3 cups chicken stock
2 table spoons Worcestershire Sauce
2 Bay leaves
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cayenne
½ teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 ½ tablespoons dried thyme
1 package basil leaves stemmed and washed
½ cup chopped green onions
To Cook Preheat oven to 325 In large saucepan medium heat add 2 tablespoons of oil from smoked chicken or 2 tablespoons Of Olive Oil Sautee vegetables about 10 minutes Add Rice for 2 more minutes Add Stock until boil Cover and place in oven 25 minutes Remove add shrimp 10 more minutes Top with green onions
