     New England Clam Chowder

Large Pot Medium to medium low heat

8oz bacon chopped
5 minutes until slightly browned edges

2 Table Spoons Butter
2 Large Onions Chopped
10 minutes until onion is translucent

¼ cup of flour
5 minutes

2 Cups reserved rinse from Clams
6 Potatoes diced less than ½ inch
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Pepper
2 teaspoons dried thyme
20 minutes

2 6.5 oz cans chopped clams
5 minutes

2 cups cream
2 cups milk

3 tablespoons parsley chopped
5 minutes turn to simmer
