Asian Beef with Snow Peas
3 Tablespoons soy sauce
2 Tablespoons rice wine vinegar
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon corn starch
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon minced fresh geinger root
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
1 1/2 pounds beef round steak, cut into thin strips
8 ounces snow peas
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar and
cornstarch and set aside. Heat oil in a wok over medium heat. Stir fry ginger
and garlic for 30 seconds. Add steak and stir fry 2 minutes. Add snow peas and
stir fry 3 minutes Add liquid bring to a boil, lower heat until sauce thickens

Add sliced mushrooms scallions water chestnuts
cooking sherry instead of rice wine vinegar
double the sauce ingredients
add toasted seasame oil at the end
